What we do
When water gets into the house, you need someone who can get there, pump it out and dry it properly. Finding one while the carpet is still wet takes time. We do that part.
You call or send the form. We take down what happened, where, and how soon you need someone. If you agree, we pass your details to one independent restoration business that works in your area. They call you, look at the damage, quote and do the work. Your agreement for the work is with them, not with us.
What we don’t do
We don’t do restoration work, set prices or employ technicians. We’re not an insurer, and we’re not connected with the City of Gold Coast or any council water service. We don’t pass your details to more than one business, and we don’t pass them on at all without your permission.
The businesses we refer to
Before we send a business anything, we check its ABN on ABN Lookup and confirm that water damage restoration is work it does. Ask the business that calls you about its training and insurance. Some technicians hold IICRC certification, an industry certification you can search on the IICRC website. If your job needs plumbing, or building repairs worth more than $3,300, that work needs a QBCC licence (QBCC).
How we’re paid
Restoration businesses pay us for the enquiries we send them. You don’t pay us anything. Our referral marketing disclosure explains this in full.
